Michelin-star chefs including MasterChef Italia judge Giorgio Locatelli (Locanda Locatelli), Junior MasterChef Italia judge Gennaro Esposito (Torre Del Saracino) and Theo Randall (Theo Randall at the InterContinental) will take part in culinary masterclasses and seminars at this year’s Bellavita Expo, Business Design Centre from 7-8 November 2019.

In addition, the event features the Bellavita Pizza Academy, featuring Marco Fuso, founder of the London International Pizza School, and the Association of Professional Italian Cooks (APCI UK) and Bellavita Expo’s resident chef Nicoletta Tavella, head of La Cucina del Sole, the Netherland’s largest school of Italian cuisine.

Wine tasting and panel experts Nancy Gilchrist, Christine Marsiglio, Caroline Gilby and Peter McCombie, all Masters of Wine, will also award the prize for this year’s Best Organic Mediterranean Wine as part of the Bellavita Awards. And wine experts Angela Mount and WSET certified educator and TV presenter Raul Diaz, will lead a pairing masterclass featuring international dishes, with Theo Randall.

Returning for its sixth year, Bellavita Expo London, is the UK’s largest dedicated Mediterranean food & beverage trade show for buyers from the retail and hospitality sector, and supports growing demand from consumers seeking healthy, sustainable products, this year will see a focus on the growing organic food and beverage market, with a number of vegetarian and vegan free-from goods on display. Products featured include; pastas, pizza, breads, charcuterie, dairy products, oils, dressings, fruits and vegetables, cooking sauces, ready meals, confectioneries and desserts.

A partnership with Spanish F&B trade show Ibérica Expo, and Vinitaly and Cibus, Bellavita offers visitors the chance to meet and do business with representatives of over 250 producers from across the Mediterranean.

The beverage section features organic, low intervention, volcanic, high-altitude and sparkling vintages – as well as beers, ciders, spirits, liqueurs, soft drinks, teas and coffees, with premium ranges from show sponsors Birrificio Angelo Poretti and Villa Sandi in particular available.
